False leaders draw false followers
Thoughts on doubt, seeking God and the end of the church age.
The faith of Christ in a person cannot be co-opted by that persons pride, however, self assurance of any particular doctrine or interpretation of Gods Word can be co-opted by a persons pride. One’s doubt can, and is at times, a motivation to seek God in prayer. It is one component of “working one’s salvation in fear and trembling.” Beware of self confidence, it’s the medium of a leader who has lifted himself up to gather other peoples flesh. Self Confidence in leadership is what corrupted the local churches throughout the church age (33AD-1988AD) by falsely making popularity and numbers of members any indication of “Godliness.”;
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 2Pet.2:1,2,3
The scripture points to men or women who leave their spiritual home in Christ in order to gather people to themselves. They think that if they identify themselves with God on them and their doctrine. They cannot see that their judgment by God awaits for them with every small and large choice;
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:” Habakkuk 2:3-5
One man’s doubt is turning away from God while another man’s doubt turns him towards God. Beware of those who make these discernments a formula for all. Formulas that are made from and about Biblical principles and applied to all people in the same way are a manifestation of the hive or collective mind of the churches which is one of the reasons God, before this day of judgment called believers to come out of “her”, which means the local churches which are referred to in Revelation as Babylon the great whore. The local churches, which are only a shadow of the “church” or body of Christ……
“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” 1 Corinthians 13:12
……were created for the purpose of spreading the gospel, not for the purpose of becoming self contained communities. The true church, the body of Christ, has no tares and only God knows who belongs to it. God ended the church age in order to take away from men the prideful notions of self confidence that tells them that they know who is and is not saved.
Modern day churches are seedbeds for hive minds to be manipulated by self-aggrandizing men and women who want to create “successful religious businesses” (popular churches in order to tempt followers to believe in the veracity of their “church” through popular acclaim to be called of God.)
In reality they sacrifice the potential of individuals in each of their personal relationships between themselves and God and replace this personal relationship with a sort of democratic agreement between men, through the following of a “leader” as proof of doctrinal legitimacy in that leaders determination of what is faith in Christ. This is why the thievery of an individuals potential personal relationship with God is so hated by God. It is also why these modern day churches are so esteemed by worldly men;
“And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.” Luke.16.15
There are those who’s more seasoned faith in Christ are able to share what God has given them in a way that benefits those who are not as seasoned in their inward spiritual commitment to God. Yet these believers who share are not qualified and do not have the spiritually functional authority to discern how what they share with others is exactly applied to those who benefit from their sharing.
It is the leaders of churches activities in guiding believers away from each believers own personal relationship with God in order that the believer focus on the process of God‘s relationship with that individual leader that is the one of the reasons the churches have became so corrupted, resulting in Gods judgment starting with the local churches, ending the age of the local churches.
Remember how the people of Israel in the Old Testament did not want God to lead them but instead wanted a king as other religions and as the peoples of unbelieving nations wanted? For this reason God guided Samuel to give the people up to their own sin by picking one of the most upstanding men in the world at that time (Saul) to rule over them (1 Samuel 9:2). Sauls behavior in his attempts to kill David were a picture of the corruption of man changing the focus of believers away from their personal relationship with God and placing them under the authority of other men.
The very structure, process and focus of churches lead believers away from God’s word and his personal relationship with them alone. It has to be said though that the leaders of these churches are not the only ones to blame for this. Members of churches who are followers of these leaders are followers in their avoidance of their own personal relationship with God in his word. False leaders were made for false followers.
